Stone Wall with Twin Trees

Photopolymer Intaglio and Relief
12.8 x 10 inches

This is a print I produced in Connecticut while I at the Weir Farm National Historic Site as the Artist in Residence for April, 2013. It is based on a drawing I did in the woods there earlier in the same month.

Little Waterfall Near Weir

Carbon Pencil
11 x 14 inches

The rock face on the far left side of the composition is about the same height as a as a 2-story building. That “hill” is one big rock. There is a little waterfall that trickles from the upper right down and to the left along the side of that rock-hill. This is part of the Weir Farm National Historic Site in Connecticut.

Here is another sketch of the same waterfall from a slightly different position:

Emerald Rock

Carbon Pencil on Paper
11 x 14 inches

Drawn at Weir Farm National Historic Site in Connecticut during my stay as artist in residence in April, 2013.

This rock is about 10 feet long and 4 or so feet tall. I call it the emerald rock because at the time I drew it there was new moss on the left face that the morning sunlight struck; it looked like a blanket of supple emerald crystals.
